I'm in the same boat. Seems I can't get these even with technical
support provided by my Universal MSDN subscription. If you find
these, please let me know where!

Hi Rob and Russell!

I believe this can only be acquired through a paid support call, but let me
check a few sources first. Since this is a fix for a known issue, I would
suspect the call fee would be waived. I'll post back soon.

Hi again Rob and Russell!

My source at Microsoft says that you will need to go through the established
paid channels and present a valid credit card number up front, however, for
a hotfix such as this, the call will be refunded.

If you have any difficulties, please let me know.

This is just a guess, but I suspect that since this fix is for a very
specific problem, Microsoft doesn't post it because they want to verify the
need first.

Many folks will download and install everything available whether needed or
not, thus potentially causing more support issues.

I don't think an installer could be built to detect this problem.
